SERVEND INTRODUCES NEW ICEPIC FEATURE INTO 30 WIDE ICE/BEVERAGE DISPENSER

May 16th, 2007

SELLERSBURG, IN– Servend, a leading manufacturer of beverage dispensers for the foodservice industry introduces the new SV-200 Selectable Ice/Beverage dispenser that offers the industry’s only built-in ice crusher providing selectable crushed or cubed types of ice from a single ice maker, ice-beverage dispenser combination.

The new Servend icepic™ feature offers customers a true choice. Integrated within the Servend SV- 200 is the new icepic™ “selectable” feature allowing two types of ice from a single dispense point. Cubed ice is crushed on demand. Because crushed and cubed ice options offer increased beverage cooling efficiency and lower water contents vs. nugget-style ice, customers get the highest quality drink possible.

Satisfied customers aren’t the only benefit; Servend’s icepic technology delivers savings on equipment purchases, and installation and maintenance costs when either dual or differentiated ice is offered. Product will be available nation-wide in July.

In addition to the SV-200 Selectable Ice/Beverage Dispensers with the icepic technology, Servend manufactures a complete line of beverage dispensing equipment such as ice and/or water beverage dispensers, drop-in beverage dispensers, and electric countertop units.
